Sheffield College Student Safe Rides Scheme with Veezu
To support Sheffield College students who need a taxi, Veezu has partnered with Sheffield College to offer a Safe Rides Scheme. This service provides emergency transport for students who find themselves stuck, unable to pay, and needing a ride home.
How to Use the Veezu Safe Rides Scheme

Call Veezu on 0114 239 39 39 and quote "Student Safe Rides Scheme."

Provide the operator with your full name. If you do not have your student card, please provide a Sheffield College email address.

A car will be sent as a priority to your location.

Reach your destination safely. Use your student card as temporary payment for your role by handing this to your Driver Partner at the end of your journey. Your driver will take you home, to the police station or hospital.

Visit your local college within 72 hours to pay the outstanding fare and collect your student card.
Note: This service is for emergency use only when you have no money/means to get home.
