Leeds University Student Safe Rides Scheme with Veezu
To support Leeds University students needing a taxi, Veezu has partnered with Leeds University Students Union to offer a Safe Rides Scheme. This service provides emergency transport for students who find themselves stuck, unable to pay and needing a ride home.
How to Use the Veezu Safe Rides Scheme

Call Veezu on 0113 202 2717 and quote 'Student Safe Ride Scheme'

Provide the operator with your full name.

A car will be sent as a priority to your location.

Reach your destination safely. Use your student card as temporary payment for your ride by handing this to your Driver Partner at the end of your journey. The driver will take you to a Residential Address, Halls of Residence, Police Station or Hospital.

Visit the LUU Cash Office at the Students' Union within 72 hours to pay the outstanding fare and collect your student card.
Note: This service is for emergency use only when you have no money/means to get home.
