Veezu Supports Wombwell FC With a Community Donation

Veezu is pleased to announce the donation to Wombwell FC, providing essential funding for new equipment and warm-up kits for the club's players through its Funded by Veezu scheme. This contribution reflects Veezu's commitment to supporting local causes and grassroots initiatives.
Established in 2018, Wombwell Town FC is a community-focused club that has made significant progress thanks to the dedicated efforts of its officials and volunteers. The club has been working on restoring its football facilities, including the clubhouse, pitches, and main stand. Built in 1964, the home ground holds historical significance for the area. Thanks to various funding sources, including Veezu's recent donation, the club is now seeing transformative changes taking shape.
"We are thrilled to support Wombwell FC through our Funded by Veezu initiative," said Sacha Skinner, Regional Marketing Manager at Veezu. Mark Shakespeare, Club and Welfare Officer and Chaplain, added: "We are delighted to receive this donation from Veezu, which will help us provide new training equipment and pre-match clothing for our first-team players. It will also support our junior teams during the 2024-25 season."
