Veezu Spreads Easter Cheer with Donation to Sheffield Children's Hospital
10 April 2024
Veezu has become the Easter bunny this year, donating Easter eggs and activity packs to the local children's hospital.
Veezu has partnered with Sheffield Children's Hospital to provide Easter treats to young patients in the hospital.
The local hospital provides life-saving services to children and young people across South Yorkshire, alongside support of their families. Activities and donations such as this allow the centres to bring joy and entertainment to their patients during their visit.
Caitlin Hallatt, Senior Philanthropy Officer at Sheffield Children's Hospital, said: "We are so grateful for all the eggs we receive over Easter; we still have lots of patients staying at Sheffield Children's and visiting us over the Easter period. It's amazing to be able to give them an egg and make Easter as special as possible for families at what can be a really difficult time, thanks to the generosity of businesses like Veezu. We are so thankful for the ongoing partnership with Veezu and everything they do to support our hospital."
"We are pleased to be able to support the children at Sheffield Children's Hospital with this donation," said Sacha Skinner, Regional Marketing Manager at Veezu. "We hope that these Easter treats and activities will bring some joy to the children and their families."
The donation was made through the Funded by Veezu community support initiative. The programme helps fund hundreds of local projects nationwide and aims to make a positive difference in the local community.
