Aqua Cars pledges £1,000 to Society St James to fund vital starter boxes

Aqua Cars, Portsmouth’s leading private hire operator and part of the Veezu Group, is proud to announce a £1,000 donation to Society St James, a local charity making a profound impact in the fight against homelessness and addiction.

The funding, delivered through Veezu’s community initiative, Funded by Veezu, will provide essential starter boxes to help individuals transitioning from homelessness and substance recovery into independent living.

For over 50 years, Society St James has been a lifeline for vulnerable people across Hampshire, offering housing, recovery services, and support to those most in need. Their starter boxes contain critical items like bedding, toiletries, and kitchen essentials—small but meaningful contributions that empower individuals to begin rebuilding their lives with dignity and stability.
