Bath Rugby Official Ride Partner | Veezu

Bath Rugby has partnered with Veezu, the new name for V Cars Taxis, as its Official Ride Provider for the next two seasons.

The first-time partnership is aimed at giving fans the best matchday experience. Bath Rugby and Veezu are working together to introduce a dedicated pick-up point at The Rec to help fans arrive at the ground and get home safely. Veezu branded activation points around The Rec will enable fans to book their ride home safely. It is all part of the Veezu plan to give the fans 'smarter local rides' in and around Bath.

The partnership will also offer the fans and residents of Bath a series of special promotions throughout the season. To meet the Clean Air Zone (CAZ) requirements, like those introduced in Bath on 15 March 2021, Veezu's investment in low-emission cars is expected to exceed £5.5million by Q1 2023.

Veezu is the new name for V Cars, which acquired Abbey Taxis in 2017, and is building its brand upon an upstanding reputation in the local community for almost 40 years. Veezu currently assists 2 million unique passengers each year across the UK and will be running regular promotions in conjunction with the club ahead of this season's key games, including the key fixture versus Bristol Bears on October 15.

As well as partnering with more driver-partners to respond to passenger demand, Veezu has recently unveiled updates to its popular ride app where passengers can skip call queues and book a journey in seconds. Veezu's smarter local rides approach also allows passengers to pay competitively priced fares via various methods, including Google Pay, Apple Pay, card or cash.
