Veezu Raises £10,000 for Cerebral Palsy Cymru

15 November 2024

Veezu is proud to announce the success of its October fundraising campaign, which raised an impressive £10,000 in support of Cerebral Palsy Cymru.

Veezu, the UK’s largest and fastest-growing private hire taxi technology business, is proud to announce the success of its October fundraising campaign, which raised an impressive £10,000 in support of Cerebral Palsy Cymru.

Throughout October, Veezu dedicated a portion of revenue from each completed booking on the Veezu app to Cerebral Palsy Cymru, raising both funds and awareness for children and families affected by cerebral palsy across Wales. The tremendous response from passengers contributed to a significant donation that will directly enhance Cerebral Palsy Cymru’s therapy and support services, improving the quality of life for those impacted by cerebral palsy throughout the region.

This campaign is part of the “Funded by Veezu” initiative, which empowers local charities, sports teams, and residents by providing resources to create lasting, positive change within the communities Veezu serves.

“We’re incredibly proud to have raised such a fantastic amount,” said Jack Price, Regional Director of Veezu South. “Supporting Cerebral Palsy Cymru aligns with our goal to give back to our community in meaningful ways, and this campaign underscores our dedication to helping local charities that make a difference in people’s lives every day.”

Carwyn Williams, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Cerebral Palsy Cymru, shared his gratitude for Veezu’s support: “This generous donation from Veezu means so much to our charity. Their commitment through this campaign helps ensure that we can continue to provide specialist services and a supportive community to families who need us. With over 80% of our income sourced from fundraising and retail activities, we simply would not be able to help as many children and families living with cerebral palsy as we currently do without such support. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed.”
