V Cars donates £1000 to Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity

V Cars has donated £1000 to Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, a charity supporting families with a seriously ill child.

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families when they have a child diagnosed with a serious or terminal illness by pairing them with a Family Support Worker who gives the whole family individual practical and emotional support whenever they need it, for as long as it is needed.

V Cars, a regional hub of the UK’s leading private hire operator Veezu, is always keen to help the local community where possible and stepped in to donate to Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity’s South West team in Chippenham.

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity has five locations across England so that they can support as many families as possible, and continually partner with other charities, hospices and hospitals to ensure there are no gaps in care for the families they support.

Jack Price, Regional Director of V Cars, said: “V Cars’ Driver Partners operate in the heart of their communities and often hear first-hand the difficulties people face. After a particularly challenging year, we wanted to give something back to those in need in our local area. “Driver Partners are often called upon to transport families to and from the charity’s bases. We hope this donation will bring some Christmas cheer to those who really need it and will help towards providing the important services that Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity provides.”
