Amber Cars expands with Bradford acquisition

Leeds-based private hire vehicle operator, Amber Cars, has increased the capacity of its fleet with the acquisition of Bradford-based firm, Greengates Cars.

Amber Cars have been operating in Leeds since 1987 and are the largest private-hire operator in the area, with an impressive fleet of over 950 driver-partners. This acquisition allows Amber Cars to expand their service into the Bradford area, whilst ensuring Greengates passengers can benefit from an improved customer experience and increased capacity.

Amber Cars are owned by Veezu, the UK’s leading multi-region taxi and private hire company which also operates regional hubs in South Wales, the South West and the West Midlands. Greengates passengers will now be able to experience Veezu’s market-leading technology and service standards.

This includes the Amber Cars booking app, which will provide customers with an easy and convenient way of booking, tracking and paying for their journeys, or if they prefer, passengers can book via the 24/7 call centre.
